Here's a story concept that I made up several years ago when I was in school. I've always liked it and I've been thinking about returning to it and doing some character designs, some layouts and maybe even build some of this stuff in 3D! Sounds like fun.

This is Jesh'e the village merchant. If you need anything he can get it for you. But you better be willing to pay top dollar for it. Don't ask me how he knows what a dollar is.

As an exercise it might be fun to create a medieval village full of characters.

Here's Garth the Tavern Keeper. He's the guy who's always convinced that there's something horrible going on. So he's always on the lookout for a traveling hero to set it straight. But then, as a tavern keeper, isn't that really part of his job... ?

Phil and Clem have fashioned some pretty sweet costumes out of objects from Phil's house. Phil's Mom is going to be mad that they drilled holes in her good, wooden cooking spoons... for shame.

I love drawing monsters. Probably my favorite thing to draw... I think I'm in a monster rut though.. all my monsters share some common traits lately.  I'm going to do some sketches tomorrow attempting to move outside of my usual. But until then here are some of the usual.

What am I doing?

I don't know what I'm doing with this blog. I have a new aspiration of using this thing to inspire me to keep sketching for my own enjoyment. The hope is that it'll fuel my creativity and push me in a direction that I intend instead of being swept along by the current. Anyway, here are some goofy characters.
